The Bearded Hatchet is an adaptation of our more traditional Tomahatchet. Inspired by Nordic axe head designs we extended the main cutting edge, giving the ancient “Bearded� look to it’s profile. This does a couple things to a traditional design: 1. It gives a much-increased cutting head to a very compact Hawk and 2. It leaves a place to choke-up on the tool for close in fine work. The size of this beast is perfect for packing into the back country on your next great adventure!
