The original HAKET (Hawk and Knife Emergency Tool) was debuted at the 2010 SHOT Show. Designed to be a survival tool that could be used as a hatchet, spike, knife, scraper, and for other survival purposes, it was a popular tool for several years. While a lot of people enjoyed the small size of the heads for storage and survival use, there are many that also wanted a larger cutting surface on the main hatchet head.

Enter the Lumberjack. On this head, the knife side is the same as the originals, but the ax head is a 4.5” cutting edge. We’ve also swapped out the leather blade covers for Kydex and upgraded from the basic pouch to the deluxe pouch for carry. This makes the HAKET an especially handy tool for bug out bags, to throw in the truck, hiking kits, etc. because of its lightweight and multi-function design.
